Gina Giles played a huge supporting role with 10 kills and 6 block assists.
The Terriers pulled off one of their more memorable wins in recent years as they defeated St. Francis (PA), 3-2, in Loretto, PA on Sunday afternoon.  St. Francis (NY) improved to 4-20 (3-11 NEC) and the Red Flash fell to 7-22 (4-9 NEC).

The Terriers dropped back-to-back heartbreaking sets to open the match, falling by identical scores of 28-26.  However, St. Francis (NY) responded with a thrilling 25-23 victory in the third set, and then forced a fifth and deciding set with a dominant 25-10 victory in game four.  The Terriers closed out the match with a 15-10 victory in the fifth set.

A host of Terriers came up big on Sunday afternoon, including junior hitter Anisa Lila, who hit .326 en route to 22 kills and 17 digs.  Senior Detelina Dimitrova (14 kills) and junior GIna Giles (10 kills) were also in double-figures in kills.  Giles also came up with a season-high 6 block assists.  Setter Maria Kashavlova distributed 40 assists and also added season-high's in service aces (7) and block assists (4).  Junior libero Liliana Rodriguez racked up 24 digs and continues to lead the conference in the category.

St. Francis (NY) will host Bryant and Central Connecticut State next weekend to complete the 2009 season.
