TERRIERS COME UP SHORT AGAINST GAELS IN SWIMMING

Junior Sonya Jaggernaught won the 100 Free and 200 IM.
NEW ROCHELLE, NEW YORK---The St. Francis College women’s swimming team fell to Iona College last night by the score of 123-76.
 
In the closest event of the evening, senior Sonya Jaggernaught (24.98) edged Iona’s Theresa Harvey (24.99) in the 50 Yard Freestyle. 
 
Other notable performances from Wednesday night include:
 
A sweep in the 100 Yard Breaststroke as Brandy Creek paved the way with a 1:15.83 followed by teammates Paloma Szivos (1:32.97) and Alexandra Santo (1:37.44)
 
The Terriers finished the 200 Yard Freestyle Relay in first place as the tandem of Paige Hardy, Andrea Dolnay, Dorota Lewandowski, and Sony Jaggernaught finished with a time of 1:47.50
 
The Terriers will next be in action on December 8th as they travel to Stony Brook to take on the Seawolves at 3:00 PM.
