BOWLING SWEEPS FIVE BAKER MATCHES ON DAY 2 AT BOWIE STATE BULLDOGS CLASSIC

Freshman Kristina Terpo, who earned All-Tournament honors by ranking third in individual pinfall on Saturday, completed the weekend with only nine open frames, while striking in 45 percent of her frames in the two day event.
LAUREL, MARYLAND---The 10th-ranked St. Francis College women's bowling team (39-16) raised its season winning percentage back over the .700 mark by winning all five Quad Baker format matches on Sunday in day two of the Bowie State University Bulldog Classic at AMF Laurel Lanes in Laurel, Maryland.  The Terriers finished the weekend with a 7-2 head-to-head match record while placing fifth of 19 teams in total pinfall with 8,410 pins.
 
Sunday's match results were as follows:
St. Francis 717, Coppin State 583
St. Francis 706, Morgan State 672
St. Francis 734, Lincoln (Pennsylvania) 564

St. Francis' total pinfall of 3,735 in 20 Baker games represents an average of 186.75 per game.

The Terriers will conclude the month of January next weekend when they take to Reading, Pennsylvania for the 28-team Kutztown University Golden Bear Invitational.  This is the largest tournament field in the NCAA this season.
