SOPHOMORE DOMINIQUE BURRUS LEAPS TO NEC GOLD TO LEAD TERRIERS AT NEC CHAMPIONSHIPS

LANDOVER, MARYLAND---Sophomore Dominique Burrus will be bringing back some hardware back to St. Francis as she took the long jump crown at the 2010 NEC Indoor Championships, leaping and qualifying for ECAC'S with a mark of 5.73m. She also placed 6th in the 60 meter hurdles with a time of 9.41.

The Terriers 4 x 400 meter relay team turned in a good effort with a sixth-place time of 4:08.89. Burrus, junior Tiffany Spivey, senior Jasmine Murdock, and junior Atoya Webb were members of the squad.

St. Francis placed 11th of 12 schools with 16 points.

Anisa Lila
Volleyball
Lila becomes the first Terrier volleyball player to win an NEC weekly honor since the 2000 season. She was able to record 65 kills and 51 digs as the Terriers went 2-2 at its own Terrier Invitational this past weekend.
