BROOKLYN HEIGHTS, NEW YORK---This afternoon is the final regular season game on tap for the Terriers as they host the Central Connecticut State University Blue Devils. Prior to this afternoon’s contest, St. Francis will honor their lone senior, Melissa Weithman, who is playing in her final contest in Brooklyn Heights.

Today is “Fan Appreciation Day.” The Terriers thank their fans for their support all season long!

Head-to-Head Series: Today marks the 25th meeting between the Terriers and the CCSU. This series dates back to the 1988-89 season when the Blue Devils took a 80-39 victory. CCSU won the first five meetings in the series and enter on a three game winning streak against St. Francis.

Last Time Out: The Terriers fell to the Bryant University Bulldogs, 73-58, on Thursday evening. Freshman Autumn Lau paved the way with 15 points while junior guard Tiara Dunson chipped in 10 points. St. Francis trimmed the lead to one, 33-32 after freshman Stefanie Bingham connected on a lay-up opportunity at the 17:51 mark in the second half. The Bulldogs answered back, sparked by a 20-3 run over a five minute stretch to pick up the victory.

Scouting the Blue Devils: Kerrianne Dugan leads the team in scoring, averaging nearly 12.0 ppg while dishing out four assist a contest. Dugan, along with Leanne Crockett and Justina Udenze have pulled down 55% of the team’s 1,073 total rebounds this season with Crockett leading the way with 8.7 caroms a contest. As a whole, the Blue Devils shoot 38% from the field while connecting on 29% from beyond the arc.
