St. Francis College Athletics

BROOKLYN HEIGHTS, NEW YORK---St. Francis (NY) senior Dean Brown (New York, NY/August Martin) was named the NEC Scholar-Athlete of the Year  in men’s indoor track and field after accumulating a 3.68 GPA in Psychology.

Brown is the reigning 2010 indoor champion in the high jump (2.06m) and was named to the Road Runners Northeast Conference Indoor Field Athlete of the Week three consecutive times from January 19^th to February 2^nd. 

At the Indoor IC4A’s, the native of New York, NY placed 4^th in the high jump with an effort of 2.04 meters.  This past indoor season, Brown collected three individual High Jump championships (New Balance Invitational, NYC Gotham Cup and the Metropolitan Invitational crown).
