BROOKLYN HEIGHTS, NEW YORK---St. Francis College (NY) women’s head volleyball coach Micah Acoba has announced that Christina Perez (Woodhaven, NY/Archbishop Molloy) has signed a National Letter of Intent to play for the Terriers in 2010.

“Christina is a great addition to the program,” said Acoba.  “I had the opportunity to meet Christina at the recent freshman orientation. She is a dedicated student and a tremendous talent on the court.  I have seen her abilities at a volleyball showcase, and we are excited about her joining our St. Francis family.”

Perez was the captain of her team in her senior season and helped the Archbishop Molloy Stanners qualify for the CHSAA Brooklyn/Queens playoffs, after an 18-kill display against their rival, Mary Louis.

Pereze was featured in a New York Post release, by Marc Raimondi, on July 2nd
