The St. Francis (NY) men’s basketball team will open the 2010-2011 campaign with road tilts at Atlantic Coast member Boston College on Friday, November 12 and will then travel to South Florida of the Big East Conference on Monday, November 15.
First-year head coach Glenn Braica will unveil his Terriers to the home crowd on Sunday, November 21 against Howard. St. Francis will then hit the road again for a contest at Brown on Wednesday, November 24.
“It is a very challenging schedule that will prepare us very well for the Northeast Conference schedule, which is always very demanding,” said Braica.
The Terriers will host a pair of NEC games against St. Francis (PA) and Robert Morris in early December before playing five consecutive games against non-conference opponents during the remainder of December and early January. Three of those games, Colgate, Dartmouth, and NJIT, will be played at home. Road games will be at Canisius and Hartford.
St. Francis (NY) will finish up the season with 16 games all against NEC competition beginning on Saturday, January 8 at Bryant.
The Terriers annual rivalry series with Long Island will commence on Wednesday, February 9 at the Blackbirds and St. Francis will host their local foes just three days later on Saturday, February 12.
