Women's Volleyball Pulls Out Exciting 3-1 Victory Against Canisius

The host St. Francis (NY) Terriers pulled out one of the most exciting victories in recent memory against Canisius on Sunday afternoon at the Genovesi Center.  The Terriers improved to 2-2 with a 25-22, 7-25, 25-23, 29-27 win against the Golden Griffs (1-3).

Senior Anisa Lila recorded a "double-double" with 20 kills and 12 digs and sophomore Marina Georgieva added 10 kills and 12 digs. Freshman Christina Perez  came up with a big effort in her first career action, registering eight kills and a match-high four service aces.

Senior setter Maria Kashavelova added 42 assists and classmate Liliana Rodriguez chipped in with 12 digs.

Samantha Good paced the visitors with 20 kills and Layne Adames added 13 kills.
